Our plan for a small wedding was rooted in a desire to hang out with our friends, share our favorite mountain town, and give everyone a chance to slow down and connect with nature. To maximize that potential, we booked cabins at Tamarack Lodge for everyone. It’ll be like summer camp. We’ll be right on a lake and right off the bike path. There are kayak and bike rentals on site. The weather will be optimal for swimming. We’ll even have a group game or two and really make it feel like we’re at camp. Let Camp Fuller Stout commence!

Getting there

Flying

We recommend flying into the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport in Bishop, CA. Bishop is located about 40 minutes from Mammoth. Once you land, there is a taxi service, a shuttle bus, or a rental car location that can get you the rest of the way.

The next best airport is the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. This is a larger airport than the one in Bishop and would likely have more flight options. Once you land here, we’d recommend renting a car or taking the bus for a scenic drive down to Mammoth.

If you are planning to rent a car, please let us know! This will help us figure out transport to and from the ceremony and reception.

If you have questions about travel, please reach out! We’d be happy to brainstorm options with you.

Driving

If you’re coming up from Los Angeles, it’s a pretty straight shot on the 395 and has a nice view of the Eastern Sierras along the way. We do recommend getting north of Lancaster before 1 or 2 PM since traffic on the 14 can get really bad in the afternoon.

Tamarack Lodge

Before you arrive, we’ll send your cabin assignment so you can get settled right away.

We have two large cabins for friends, one cabin for the Stout family, one cabin for the Fuller family, and one cabin for us + Griffy.

Check-in is at 4 PM. If you arrive before then, let us know, and you can put your bags in our cabin. For Sunday, check out is at 11 AM.
